Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FridgeCig ("the app"), operated by Brevin B. By using FridgeCig, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Description of Service

FridgeCig is a drink tracking application that lets you log beverages, track consumption habits, earn badges, view statistics, and share activity with friends. The app is available on iOS and Apple Watch.

2. User Accounts

• FridgeCig uses your iCloud account for authentication and data sync. You do not create a separate account with us.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and iCloud account.
• You must provide accurate information for your display name and username. Impersonation of others is prohibited.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

• FridgeCig offers optional premium features through a subscription ("FridgeCig Pro").
• All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not directly collect or store payment information.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings or through the App Store.
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policies.

4. User Content

• You retain ownership of all content you create in FridgeCig, including photos, notes, and drink logs.
• By using the app's social features, you grant FridgeCig a limited license to display your shared content (activity feed items, leaderboard data) to your friends within the app.
• You are solely responsible for the content you share. Do not share content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Manipulate leaderboards, streaks, or badges through fraudulent data entry
• Use automated tools or scripts to interact with the app
• Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's services
• Use the app for any illegal purpose

FridgeCig may employ anti-fraud measures to detect and prevent manipulation of competitive features such as leaderboards and streaks.

6. Intellectual Property

FridgeCig, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is owned by Brevin B and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.

7. Disclaimers

• Not medical advice. FridgeCig is a personal tracking tool. Caffeine data written to HealthKit and any statistics shown in the app are for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical or dietary advice. Consult a healthcare professional for medical guidance.
• No brand affiliation. FridgeCig is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, or any other beverage brand. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
• Provided "as is." FridgeCig is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brevin B shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of FridgeCig. Our total liability for any claim related to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for FridgeCig in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

• You may stop using FridgeCig at any time and delete your account from within the app's settings.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the app for users who violate these Terms, with or without notice.
• Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. Sections 6, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of FridgeCig shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of FridgeCig after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
