1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using ScriptureAI (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
ScriptureAI is an iOS application that provides AI-powered biblical insights and commentary. The App uses artificial intelligence to help users explore biblical questions and receive scripture-based responses.

- Scripture exploration and commentary
- Chat history and conversation management
- Optional iCloud synchronization
- Usage tracking and subscription management
3. User Accounts and Data
3.1 Account Requirements
- No account creation is required to use basic features
- iCloud account required for data synchronization (optional)
3.2 User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your device
- All activity that occurs through your use of the App
- Compliance with these Terms and applicable laws
4. Subscriptions and Payments
4.1 Subscription Plans
ScriptureAI offers several subscription options:
- Monthly Plans: 300 or 1000 messages per month
- Yearly Plans: 5000 or 15000 messages per year
- One-time Purchases: 100, 500, or 1000 permanent messages
4.2 Payment Terms
- All purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
- Prices may vary by region and are subject to change
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account
4.3 Cancellation and Refunds
- You may cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- Refunds are handled according to Apple’s refund policy
- Unused messages from subscriptions expire at the end of the billing period
- Permanent messages (one-time purchases) do not expire
4.4 Free Trial (if applicable)
- Free trials may be offered for subscription plans
- Trial periods will be clearly disclosed before purchase
- Trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled
5. Usage Guidelines
5.1 Permitted Use
You may use ScriptureAI for:
- Personal biblical study and exploration
- Educational purposes related to Christian faith
- Private devotional activities
5.2 Prohibited Use
You may NOT use ScriptureAI for:
- Commercial religious services without permission
- Generating content for other apps or services
- Automated or bulk queries that exceed normal usage
- Any illegal, harmful, or offensive purposes
- Circumventing usage limits or subscription requirements
5.3 Content Guidelines
- Maintain respectful dialogue in your queries
- Do not attempt to generate inappropriate religious content
- Respect the sacred nature of biblical material
6. AI-Generated Content
6.1 Nature of AI Responses
- All responses are generated by artificial intelligence
- Responses are for informational and devotional purposes only
- AI responses should not replace pastoral care, professional counseling, or formal theological education
- Always verify important theological questions with qualified religious authorities
6.2 Content Accuracy
- We strive for accurate biblical information but cannot guarantee perfection
- AI responses may contain errors or interpretational differences
- Users should cross-reference important information with authoritative sources
6.3 Denominational Neutrality
- The App aims to provide broadly Christian perspectives
- Responses may not align with specific denominational teachings
- Users should consult their own religious leaders for denominational guidance
7. Intellectual Property

ScriptureAI, including its design, code, and features, is owned by the developer and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
7.2 User Content
- Your questions and chat history remain your property
- You grant us permission to process your queries to provide AI responses
- We do not claim ownership of your personal devotional content
7.3 Third-Party Content
- Biblical text may be sourced from public domain or licensed translations
- AI responses are generated content, not direct quotations unless specified
- Respect copyright of any biblical translations used
8. Privacy and Data Protection
8.1 Data Collection
Our privacy practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8.2 Data Storage
- Local storage on your device is the default
- iCloud synchronization is optional and user-controlled
- We do not store personal conversations on our servers
9. Third-Party Services
9.1 Apple Services
- App Store purchases and iCloud sync are subject to Apple’s terms
- We are not responsible for Apple service interruptions
9.2 AI Services
- AI responses are powered by third-party AI services (OpenAI)
- These services have their own terms and privacy policies
- We are not responsible for AI service availability or accuracy
10. Disclaimers and Limitations
